## Case Studies

### Cloud Migrations
DoneOps helped a supply chain management firm consolidate several different solutions with Google Cloud. The client had existing software deployments across multiple cloud and physical components, leading to a complex deployment pipeline. DoneOps guided the migration to GKE, moving from cloud functions to a unified deployment architecture with CloudRun/GKE. We designed sustainable scaling patterns based on queue depth of Pub/Sub workflows while enforcing cost limits.

### Infrastructure
DoneOps worked with an established online learning company to create standardized hosting environments. We implemented CI systems using Cloud Build and Artifact Registry, deployed Kubernetes via GKE with Flux for GitOps, and used Skaffold for developer integration. When the client needed new capabilities for hands-on lab environments, we leveraged Hashicorp Packer and Google Cloud compute images to deliver custom OS images in weeks instead of months.

### Security
DoneOps helped a security-focused online learning platform implement authentication, authorization, and identity management. We leveraged Google Cloud IAM for developer access, implemented CI/CD with Prow and Flux to eliminate direct production access, used Skaffold for centralized secret management, deployed Google Identity-Aware Proxy for internal users, and migrated end-user identity to Google Identity Platform with SAML support for enterprise customers.

DoneOps has been deploying Flux into client environments as a core part of our GitOps offering for three years.
